About us

Welcome to Inspire.

We provide services to young people in Thurrock, provided by Thurrock Council.

We are the place for all young people aged 11-19 to get involved in a range of activities and events that are created for and by young people.

These include just some of the following:

OnTrack – This FREE programme provides all young people who are unemployed in the area to get the support they need to get the training, the job and the career they really want.

Youth Clubs – With clubs all over the borough, there are always chances for you and your friends to get involved and have fun

Youth Work Projects – Want to make a movie, play football, create some amazing art or have a place where you feel safe, then we have the project for you.

Youth Cabinet – If you want to be heard and represent the young people in your area then join the growing group of youth representatives and get involved in making a difference to your area.

Thurrock Careers – Our Personal advisors are here and in schools to support you with all your information, advice and guidance in your chosen career.  Why not pop into the Inspire Youth Hub  to see what they can do for you

Grangewaters Outdoors Education centre – This amazing site has everything you need to explore the outdoors and hosts a variety of outdoor sessions and opportunities to build your confidence and skills

Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme – We provide this National programme in the area and work with schools and voluntary groups to provide young people the chance to succeed.

Youth Employment Programmes – From Apprenticeships and amazing events like Opportunity Thurrock and Thurrock’s Next Top Boss, we are here to make sure you have all the chances available to get the career and the future you deserve

Inspire–Sound – Want to be a rock star, have written a book and want to make an audio version, or have a band or want to learn a musical instrument? We have 2 recording studios in the area and award winning staff that can make all your recording dreams come true.

As you can see, there is so much to do in the area and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Young people are our future and we hope this blog not only creates the opportunity for letting you know what’s on but also gives you the chance to GET INVOLVED.
