Right to Buy properties
Please search within your records to identify all the council properties that have ever been transferred under the right to buy scheme, in whatever time period you hold records for.
1. Please provide
a) The total number of properties that have been transferred to private ownership under the Right to Buy Scheme.
b) The time scale of your search (EG: 1982-2022) (I am aware that some councils will have older records than others.)
2. Please compare this list with your HMO licence register. You can pivot the information on the address field, or potentially title number. Please provide:
a) The number of properties that appear on both lists.

b) The time scale of your search (EG: 1982-2022) (I am aware that some councils will have older records than others.) = 2007/08 to 2021/22
2. Please compare this list with your HMO licence register. You can pivot the information on the address field, or potentially title number. Please provide: See attached excel sheet
a) The number of properties that appear on both lists. = 3 properties appear on both the RTB and HMO lists (there are 212 properties on the HMO register)

Where the copyright is owned by Thurrock Council, you must apply to the Council to re-use the information. For information where the copyright is owned by another person or organisation, you must apply to the copyright owner to obtain their permission.
If you are dissatisfied with the way in which the council have managed your FOI request you can pursue an Internal Review by contacting us using the above email address. Your request will be considered by a senior member of the Information Management Team who will update you with the outcome of the review.
If you remain unhappy following the outcome of your Internal Review you may wish to refer your case to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and details of this organisation can be found at www.ico.org.uk . Please be advised that the ICO will not consider your case until they have confirmation that you have already been through the Internal Review stage with the council.
