Sail Thurrock

Grangewaters is a RYA recognised training centre.

The RYA – Royal Yachting Association – is the national body for dinghy, yacht and motor cruising, all forms of sail racing, rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) and sports boats, windsurfing and personal watercraft.

We offer a perfect environment for learning to sail with expert RYA instructors, an extensive training fleet and all safety equipment provided. Learn to sail at Grangewaters by signing-up for our courses, below.

Learn to Sail – RYA Level 1 and Level 2

RYA Level 1 and Level 2 is an internationally-recognised course that provides 16-hours of training over 2 days. It includes an RYA logbook, practical boat handling, introductory theory, plus expert advice and guidance on progression opportunities. Completing the course will give you RYA qualifications, together with the independence and confidence to enjoy this exciting sport.

The 2-day course costs £156 to join. Minimum age for taking part is 12 years-old.
