Two weeks left to get unclaimed business grants

With just 2 weeks left for eligible local businesses to receive their government grant, Thurrock Council is urging any business that has not yet received their money to come forward now.
Since the scheme was launched at the start of April, Thurrock Council has distributed more than £22million worth of government funding to nearly 1,800 local business.
Cllr Shane Hebb, Cabinet member for finance, said: "This funding has provided a vital lifeline to businesses during an extremely uncertain time.

Nearly £15m of business grants distributed - don't miss out

More than 1,150 local businesses have been received financial help thanks to the Thurrock Council and the hard work being done to distribute government business grants.
Cllr Shane Hebb, Cabinet Member for Finance, said: "This government scheme offers businesses a vital lifeline during an extremely uncertain time. We have pulled out all the stops to make sure that we get this money to them as quickly and efficiently as possible and I am delighted to announce that we have put nearly £15million worth of government support grants in the bank accounts of 1,126 local businesses.
