The South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) is part of a network of local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) across the UK.
LEPs are partnerships between local authorities and businesses. They decide what the priorities should be for investment in roads, buildings and facilities in the area.
SELEP provides the vision and leadership for sustainable business growth and job creation in the local authority areas of East Sussex, Essex, Kent, Medway, Southend and Thurrock.
SELEP Accountability Board makes all major funding decisions for the partnership. It manages SELEP's investment programme to make sure it has greatest benefit.
The board has representatives from organisations across the SELEP area.
