Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Chadwell St Mary Area Intervention Programme (AIP) area 11, no.2

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. at the junction of St Johns Road/Giffordside
ii. on the south side of St Johns Road, from a point 1m west of the eastern flank wall of 1 St Johns Road in a northeast direction for a distance of 9.5m
iii. on the south side of Hill House Drive, from a point 3m west of the eastern flank wall of 119 Hill House Drive in a southeast direction to a point 6m south of north flank wall off 117 Hill House Drive
iv. on the north side of Hill House Drive, from a point 5m west of the eastern flank wall of 115 Hill House Drive in a northeast direction to the common boundary wall of 155 and 157 Hill House Drive

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 11 September 2022. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
