Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No loading at any time

Clarence Road, Grays

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 7 April 2022, the order will come in to force on 9 May 2022.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Loading At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. on the south side of Clarence Road, from the eastern kerb line of Grange Road in an east direction for a distance of 10m
ii. on the south side of Clarence Road, from the western kerb line of Grange Road in a west direction for a distance of 10m
iii. on the east side of Grange Road, from the southern kerb line of Clarence Road in a south direction for a distance of 8m
iv. on the west side of Grange Road, from the southern kerb line of Clarence Road in a south direction for a distance of 9m
v. on the northern side of Clarence Road, from the eastern kerb line of Park Road in an east direction for a distance of 8.5m
vi. on the northern side of Clarence Road, from the western kerb line of Park Road in a west direction for a distance of 7.5m
vii. on the both side of Park Road, from the northern kerb line of Clarence Road in a north direction for a distance of 8.5m

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
