No waiting at any time
Grays Area Intervention Programme (AIP) area 14, no.2 and no.3
1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 8 December 2022, the order will come in to force on 26 January 2023.
2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:
i. at the junction of Coltsfoot Court/Churchill Road
ii. at the junction of Salix Road/Churchill Road
iii. at the junction of Salix Road/Medlar Road
iv. at the junction of Salix Road/Samphire Court
v. at the junction of Medlar Road/Mullein Court
vi. at the junction of Medlar Road/Medick Court
vii. at the junction of Medlar Road/Mallow Court
viii. at the junction of Churchill Road/Medlar Road
ix. at the junction of Churchill Road/Comfrey Court, from a point 4m south of the north flank wall of 20 Comfrey Court in a southwest direction for a distance of 16.5m
3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices
4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is advertised apply for the purpose to the High Court.
