Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

Various restrictions

Grays Permit Parking Area zones E and F

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be:

a) To revoke the following locations as specified below from the existing CPZ F "Mon-Sat 9am-6pm":

(I) Sherfield Road
(II) Thames Road
(III) Access road leading to Thurrock Yacht Club

b) To revoke Permit Parking Area "Permit E Holders Only, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm" at the following locations:

(I) Argent Street, between Sherfield Road and Bridge Road
(II) Exmouth Road
(III) New Road, between Bridge Road to Exmouth Road
(IV) Seabrooke Rise
(V) Bridge Road, between New Road to Argent Street
(VI) Access road from Bridge Road leading to Wyvern House
(VII) Manor Road, from Argent Street to a point 7m North of the common boundary on no’s 1&3 Manor Road

c) To introduce Permit Parking Area "Permit E Holders Only, Mon-Sat 9am-6pm" at the following locations:

(I) Argent Street, between Sherfield Road and Bridge Road
(II) Exmouth Road
(III) New Road, between Bridge Road to Exmouth Road
(IV) Seabrooke Rise
(V) Bridge Road, between New Road to Argent Street
(VI) Access road from Bridge Road leading to Wyvern House
(VII) Manor Road, from Argent Street to a point 7m North of the common boundary on no’s 1&3 Manor Road
(VIII) Access road to Toft House, George Crooks House and Lionel Oxley House
(IX) Car park for Toft House, George Crooks House and Lionel Oxley House

d) To introduce Permit Parking Area "Permit F Holders Only, Mon-Sat 9am-6pm" at the following locations:

(I) Argent Street, between Sherfield Road and West Street
(II) Access road leading to Thurrock Yacht Club
(III) Sherfield Road
(IV) Thames Road
(V) Argent Street, access road to Greenwood House, Butler House and Davall House
(VI) Car park for Greenwood House, Butler House and Davall House

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 17 December 2020. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
