Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

The Homesteads no.3

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 7 July 2022, the order will come in to force on 4 August 2022.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to:

a) revoke existing waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following location(s):

i. on the southeast side of Kathleen Close, from the common boundary of 8 and 10 Kathleen Close in a southeast direction for a distance of 5.5m

b) introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following location(s):

i. on both sides of Second Avenue, from a point 10m northwest of the northwest kerb line of Southend Road in a northwest direction for a distance of 5m

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
