Land at Belmont Road, Castle Road and Roseberry Road, Grays

Notice declaring street to be highway maintainable at public expense following street works.

To: The Owner(s) of Land at Belmont Road, Castle Road and Roseberry Road, Grays.

Carriageway and associated surrounding footways at the above-mentioned streets and shown coloured pink on the plan below, not being at the date of this Notice, a highway maintainable at public expense, has been constructed and built to the requirements of the street works authority.

Now Thurrock Council as the street works authority for the above-mentioned street, declares that the street shall be a highway maintainable at public expense on the expiration of a period of one month from the date when this Notice is first displayed that is one month from 10/02/2023. The street shall become a highway maintainable at the public expense unless within the period the owner of the street, or if more than one, the majority of number of owners (joint owners counting as one) by notice to the Council object. 

A copy of the notice and plan may be obtained by contacting transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk free of charge.

Any objections to the Notice may be sent to Transport Development at Thurrock Council no later than 10/03/2023. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
