Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 7 January 2021, the order will come in to force on 5 February 2021.
2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:
a) on the southern kerb line of Billet Lane from a point 15m west of the western kerb line of Kynoch Court in an easterly direction for a distance of 48m
b) on the western kerb line of Runnymede Road, from a point 9m south of the northern flank wall of Rosslyn Court in a southern direction across the access to Rosslyn Court for a distance of 5m
c) on the southern kerb line of Hope Avenue at the junction of Alderman Walk, from a point opposite the shared boundary wall of numbers 19 and 21 Alderman Walk in a easterly direction for a distance of 12m
d) on the northern kerb line of Alderman Walk from the shared boundary wall of numbers 19 and 21 Alderman Walk northwards for a distance of 13m
e) on the eastern kerb line of Butts Lane from a point 10m north of the northern kerb line of Prospect Avenue in a northerly direction for a distance of 4m
f) on the northern kerb line of Victoria Road between the shared boundary of 111 and 113 Victoria Road northwards for a distance of 6m
g) at the junction of Bellmaine Avenue and Access Road for 26-40 and 189-235 Bellmaine Avenue
h) on the south-western kerb line of Cornwell Crescent, from the western flank wall of 14 Cornwell Crescent in an easterly direction to the shared boundary wall of numbers 14 and 16 Cornwell Crescent
3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices
4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act have not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
