Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Thames Park School, Grays

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 15 September 2022, the order will come in to force on 14 October 2022.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. on the south side of B149 Chadwell Road and B149 Wood View, from a point 30m east of the east kerb line of Wood View in an east direction to its roundabout junction with River View and Chadwell Bypass
ii. on the north side of B149 Chadwell Road and B149 Wood View, from the east kerb line of Wood View in an east direction to its roundabout junction with River View and Chadwell Bypass
iii. on the north side of Wood View, from the north kerb line of B149 Chadwell Road in a north direction for approximately 67m
iv. on both sides of Marshfoot Road, from its junction with Marshfoot Roundabout in a north direction for approximately 160m

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
