Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

West Thurrock Green, West Thurrock

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 1 September 2022, the order will come in to force on 9 September 2022.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. at the junction/roundabout of Abberton Way and Loweswater Way
ii. on both sides of Loweswater Way, from the junction/roundabout with Abberton Way in an east direction to the junction/roundabout of Costco Store Carpark
iii. at the junction of Loweswater Way and Colliford Road
iv. on both side of Abberton Way, from the junction/roundabout of Loweswater Way in a south direction for to a point 22m southwest of the western kerb line of Draycote Road
v. at the junction of Abberton Way and Colliford Road
vi. at the junction of Abberton Way and Carrowmore Close
vii. on the southern side of Carrowmore Close, from a point 2m west of the eastern flank wall of 12 Carrowmore Close in an east direction for a distance of 10m
viii. on the southern side of Carrowmore Close, from a point 3m west of the western flank wall of 24 Carrowmore Close in a west direction for a distance of 12.5m
ix. on the southern side of Carrowmore Close, from a point 3m west of the eastern flank wall of 40 Carrowmore Close in a west direction for a distance of 12.5m
x. on the southern side of Carrowmore Close, from the western flank wall of 42-72 Carrowmore Close in a west direction for a distance of 12m
xi. at the junction of Abberton Way and Draycote Road
xii. at the junction of Abberton Way and Killarney Crescent
xiii. on the southern side of Draycote Road, from the western kerb line of Draycote Road in a west direction for a distance of 10m
xiv. on the southern side of Draycote Road, from the eastern kerb line of Draycote Road in an east direction for a distance of 10m
xv. on the both side of Draycote Road, from the southern kerb line of Draycote Road in a south direction for a distance of 11m
xvi. at the junction of Draycote Road and Killarney Crescent
xvii. on both sides of Killarney Crescent, from a point 1m east of the western flank wall of 9 Killarney Crescent in a west then south direction to a point 3m south of the northern flank wall of 9 Killarney Crescent
xviii. on both sides of Euclid Way, from its junction Abberton Way in a southerly direction to Motherwell Way junction

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
